Day 9 - Panama Canal Cruise - Puerto Vallarta

September 30, Day 9 of our vacation, was spent in Puerto Vallarta.  As a thank you to my parents for their help with looking after Maya during the cruise we treated them to a day with us on the beach. 

The beach resort was founded by the late Hollywood Director (and father of Angelica), Mr John Huston. We were shuttled to the resort on a 90 minute booze cruise catamaran ride (always a good way to start a day).  Once at the resort, we were treated to a great buffet and then spent the day doing whatever we wanted, for free.  Mom & Dad relaxed on the beach, John & Maya went kayaking, I went snorkelling, Grampa took Maya to the petting zoo and to get a donkey ride and we all had a great time.  It was one of the best days of the whole vacation.

    

     

     

     

 

The catamaran ride back to the ship was VERY entertaining and a great way to cap off the day.  The staff performed many lip-synced songs inclding several songs by 'Queen' (above).  We were laughing so hard we cried.....
