Weather & Time

We need to figure out what to pack for Maya and ourselves so we've done some weather research.

Typical weather in MAY for Guangzhou is:
Low = 22.7
High = 29.4
Mean days of rain = 18
Mean total precipitation = 284mm
(it looks like we're going to get wet!)

Typcial weather in MAY for Beijing is:
Low = 13.2
High = 26.4
Mean days of rain = 6
Mean total precipitation = 29mm
(cooler, but dryer and not too far off our weather at home)

Time difference:
China only has 1 time zone and does not recognize Daylight Savings Time.
The time differences are:
China to BC > -15 hours
China to ON > -12 hours

When travelling, we'll try to get on the computer in the morning which will be the previous evening here. Let's hope the internet connections are good enough to update the blog at least (I've heard that they aren't...). Having enough connection for SKYPE may be hoping for too much.
